LEGO Catalogue 2016 Jan-June

I attended the huge LEGO fan event, BRICK LIVE in Birmingham and displayed my enormous Disney Beauty and the Beast castle. It was great seeing all the amazing fans of LEGO and chatting to everyone about the castle. The event went over a few days and had everything from huge brick pits for the kids to build in to a huge fan zone where my castle was right in the middle.

I also gave some talks on stage each day going through how I made the transfer from a fan of LEGO to being a proffessinal model builder. There were some other amazing models and a heap of very talented builders, so make sure you book your tickets early for next years event at BRICK LIVE 2017.

LEGO's 365 things to do with LEGO Bricks Book

DK 365 Things To Do With LEGO Bricks Book

Last year I was asked to design a heap of LEGO models for the new official LEGO book published by DK Books; 365 THINGS TO DO WITH LEGO BRICKS. It was great coming up with new ideas, designing and building the models, and now the book has been lauched, it's been great seeing my work published and loads of people young and old enjoying it.

The models I built encompass such a variety of different styes and techniques including modular and animation. There is such a variety of ideas in the book and some of the themes I have built an inspirational version as well as a simple version so all ages can have a go at building.

Some of the models I built in the book are:
- Working Lamp
- A Lighthouse and how to build round objects
- Miniland People and Football figures
- Family Tree
- Build a Pet, Dog, Cat and Bunny
- ID Badge
- Modular Ponies, including a unicorn
- Stationery organiser
- Pencil Case
- Building in black and white - the snail is one of my favourites
- Spectacles Holder
- Trophy
- Annimated Bear Head - this is my favourite build in the book
- Brick Numbers and Letters
- Building Planets and Constellations - which glow in the dark
- Micro Animals
- 8 Bit Flowers
- Rooster Weather Vane
- Totem pole
- 3D Butterfly - another of my favourite builds
- and many, many more!
