Oh What a Knight

Based on the Black Prince in Canterbury Cathedral, we held masterclasses throughout the February school holidays, where people could come along to discover how to make a knight out of LEGO parts and then get creative by uniquely customising it with armour, shields, swords and… well, whatever they cold imagine!

The basic knight shape was miniland scale and the construction of these was taught, step by step, by us to the eager builders while they learned various techniques. Then, once built, the participants were given thousands of small LEGO parts to decorate their creation and customise it to their own taste.

The thousands of knights were displayed in the cathedral creating an awesome display that stepped back in time to days of old.
